hey lovely, I’m debs!

Oakland-based boudoir photographer, and I believe every person deserves to feel good in their own skin.

Not someday. Not when you lose the weight, get the haircut, or feel more confident.

Right now. Exactly as you are.

i see you!

I’VE STRUGGLED WITH MY BODY AND MY SKIN, JUST LIKE YOU HAVE.

I’ve been there – telling myself that if I worked out more, made healthier choices, or if my skin cleared up, then maybe I would be much more attractive.

It felt like I was constantly chasing a version of beauty and being pulled in different directions so that I could be seen as beautiful by the world.

And eventually, I decided… no more of that.

I didn’t want to keep putting conditions on when I was “allowed” to feel good about myself.  This experience isn’t about changing who you are. It’s about giving yourself permission to show up as you are—and realizing that’s already enough.

I started Hey Lovely because I believe boudoir photography isn't about transformation — it's about recognition.

My sessions are simple, intentional, and completely centered on you. No elaborate props, no pressure to perform — just a safe space, good light, and someone genuinely in your corner.

Every body. Every gender. Every story. You are welcome here.

She’s genuinely interested in making the experience fun and low-stress and manages to bring you out of your comfort zone but is still able to relax you into the session.

★★★★★

Debra is an absolute gem of a human being and knows exactly how to make someone feel so comfortable.

I won't promise this session will fix everything.

But I do promise you'll walk away having seen yourself differently — and that's where everything begins.
